What You Should Do While You’re Waiting to Start Pursuing a New Goal

This is the time of year when it seems like life is on hold for a few days. Yes, some work is still getting finished, but almost no new work is being started. At least not until the new year.

However, times like this don’t need to go completely to waste. Especially if you know what you want to start in a few weeks, and you’re just waiting it out. Now is the time to think about your progression. A progression is a walk, jog, run process that is a must to pursue any new goal that is even slightly difficult.

If you are like most people, drastic routine changes are not sustainable. It’s just not possible to go from sedentary to running 5 miles a day for example. As a result, now is the perfect time to come up with a goal progression strategy that allows you to gradually make progress from the moment whenever your day 1 begins. Start small, think about what you can commit to without hesitation, then just build from there.
