We spent most of our conversation talking about pursuing passion vs. chasing money.  As I was mentioning that I thought this was the main reason my startup failed, I had an “aha” moment.  I shared that the reason I didn’t have a passion for my startup was because I couldn’t create a personal connection with my customer.  In addition, I didn’t feel a sense of satisfaction when I helped my customer solve their problems.
