This Might Not Work Out

This Might Not Work Out

It’s a fact that the changes you want to make in your life might not work out. Please be alright with that and do it anyway. If you don’t, you will never know what life you could have lived and what lessons you could have learned.  Jeff Bezos has a famous quote that says as much:

If you decide that you’re going to do only the things you know are going to work, you’re going to leave a lot of opportunity on the table.

This quote really spoke to me because I believe that most opportunities are huge blessings. Blessings many people never get. Hidden in the fact that we know it might not work out, is the fact that it might.  That hidden fact is what we call hope.

Focusing on that glimmer of hope combined with the euphoria you get once you take the first step, is the pathway to motivation and optimism.   Two things that are often the missing ingredients we need for success.
