What if You Fail?

What if You Fail?

There are some facts about failure that should give you comfort. If you don’t try, you automatically fail and get nothing else. If you try and fail, you get experience and the opportunity to learn. Therefore, trying and failing is better than not trying.

Applying this mindset to your biggest and most audacious goals allows you to play with house money. There is no pressure because you have nothing to lose. Ultimately, this is the essence of the process mindset. A process mindset is one in which you concede that you don’t control the future, but you do control what you do in the present to impact the future.

Staying in bed and not trying is not a process. On the other hand, waking up to try and fail at least puts you one step ahead in the process. That one process step represents real progress. Moreover, without progress there is no form of success possible.
