Stuck in a Rut? Your Goals Are What’s Likely Holding You Back
Goal setting is so common it’s easy to overlook as the source of your problem when stuck in a rut. There is nothing more frustrating than having a goal that you aren’t making progress towards. What’s more, the lack of progress and frustration is by definition why you’re in a rut.
Consequently, the rut you’re in is likely because you’re taking you’re goals for granted.
If you don’t have a specific place to manage your goals, you’re taking your goals for granted. If you don’t have a plan to make progress towards your goals and haven’t done anything about that in over a week, then you’re taking your goals for granted.
Or if you haven’t broken down your goals into a progression, you’re taking your goals for granted. In addition, if your goals don’t take advantage of your strengths and personality type, you’re also taking your goals for granted.
Simply put, your goals will put you in a rut and your goals will get you out of a rut. It’s up to you to decide to make your goals work for you not against you.
