Are You Actually Working?
All work is not created equal. In fact, all work isn’t actually work in technical terms. So how do you know if you are actually working? I suggest starting with the physics formula for calculating work.
Work = Force x Distance
This formula dictates that work is only done when the result of what you do is positive movement. If there is no positive movement then there is no work. Correspondingly, this implies that if you can’t measure positive movement then you can’t know if you are actually working.
