The Greatest Barrier and Equalizer in the Pursuit of Success
Today my wife said something to me that I thought was a great reality check.
Time is the greatest barrier and equalizer in the pursuit of success.
There are many barriers each of us face in the pursuit of how we define success for ourselves. However, there is no greater barrier than how we use our time. Ironically, this same barrier is an equalizer. Every person on this earth only gets 24 hours in a day and every person can choose to invest that time more (or less) wisely.
The fact is successful people use their time in ways in which unsuccessful people don’t. Consequently, this means that if you haven’t reached the level of success you want in your life, your free time isn’t actually free. Indeed, the reality is that your free time is costing you the life you want to live.
