The Power of Taking Action and the Consequences of Doing Nothing
Our world is completely unpredictable. It’s amazing when you stop and think about it. Looking back on my life, I can specifically identify moments where a single decision to take action literally changed my life. If I made the decision to do nothing in those moments, I would be far worse off right now. This is a fact.
Often, with so many distractions in our world, it’s easy to see an opportunity and choose to do nothing about it. Never once does it cross your mind the consequences for doing nothing. You just don’t know what you don’t know, so you just move on.
For example, yesterday I shared a free opportunity to participate in a program called the 120 Day Challenge. Tomorrow there will be 120 days left in 2020, hence the name of the program. The purpose is to help you challenge yourself on a journey of personal growth for the last 120 days of the year. For each of these last 120 days of 2020, this program will challenge you to take action, be the best version of yourself, and end the year strong.
You Always Have a Choice to Take Action or Do Nothing – But There are Consequences
Just like any other opportunity, you have a choice to take action or do nothing. You could give the 120 Day Challenge a try and see what happens, or you can end the year not knowing what could have been possible if you participated. It’s a choice that will change your life either way, as there are always consequences for both doing nothing and taking action.
However, I urge you to not underestimate the power of taking action. There could be one nugget of inspiration, one push, one insight, or one technique that takes you to the next level. Being that there is no cost to participate except your time and energy to take action, you have everything to gain and nothing to lose. Taking action on this opportunity may be one of those moments you look back on that made the difference.
All you have to do to start is sign up here. Even if you’re reading this after September 3rd and miss signing up on day one, you can still join at any time before the end of 2020 and make the most of whatever time is left. Don’t miss this chance to challenge yourself on a journey of personal growth. You have nothing to lose.
