How to Create a Habit of NOT Being Average at the Start of Each Day
Much of my life journey has been a battle between average, good, and great. This battle between these opposing forces is what motivates me to write in this blog each day. This battle also inspires my coaching as I have a calling to help others win this battle as well.
With this in mind, today I have a simple tip that can help anyone start their day winning the battle against average. According to a 2020 survey by Mattress Nerd, the average American takes 24 minutes to get out of bed each day. These 24 minutes the average American waste at the start of each day is the epitome of what it means to be average…Wasting time by procrastinating. What’s more, starting the day being average sets the tone for your entire day.
In fact, “getting out of bed immediately after waking” is among the top 30 tips CEOs, executives, and founders cited when surveyed on the “Little Things Highly Successful People do Differently to Get Ahead of Everyone Else.“
In short, if you don’t want to be average don’t make starting the day off average a habit. Instead, your daily habit must be to wake up, get up immediately, start the day with good, and then work your way to great.
