The Mental Toughness Course for Middle and High School Athletes

Mental toughness is something young athletes must learn. It’s just not possible to be born mentally tough. Yes, nature does play a role. However nurture plays a bigger role in how much mental toughness a young athlete develops over time.

This is why mental toughness is something parents and coaches have to proactively build in young athletes. In this 14-day course, this is exactly what we will do.

This virtual mental toughness course is designed for athletes 13 to 19 years old. The first 7 days focuses on self-awareness, and the last 7 days focuses on habits and routines to build mental toughness.

The fact is mental toughness is a muscle. The more you work on it, the stronger the muscle becomes. If an athlete is struggling with their mental toughness, telling them they need to be mentally tougher is pointless. Telling is not teaching, and listening is not learning. You need a plan and you must get the athlete’s buy-in to execute that plan. At the end of this 14-day course you will have both.
