There is Only One Way to Gain Confidence — Forget Shortcuts
The essence of confidence is the belief that one can and will succeed. This belief does not come out of thin air. It’s not something you’re born with and it’s not something a parent, friend, or coach can talk you into believing.
Confidence does not come from motivational speeches, positive self-talk, and it can’t even come from praying. All of this can help when done part of a routine, but definitely not when done sporadically.
Simply stated, confidence is something you can only earn through blood, sweat, tears, and effort. That is why the only way to gain confidence is through consistent preparation.
