We Don’t Control the Date of Success So Don’t Shortcut the Process

When you stick with following a proven process success is inevitable over the long run. Sticking with a process comes down to committing to the details in the small things that matter each day. It also comes down to believing that one day keeping all of those small commitments will pay off.

However, maintaining this belief requires accepting the fact that you can’t control the date success. Don’t make the mistake of skipping steps and taking short cuts to try to force the day of success to come sooner. Shortcutting the process is far more likely to delay success than to accelerate it.

History shows that you can’t control the outcome but you can control the process. So it’s always best to error on the side of trusting and staying persistent with the process over running out of patience.
