When You’re Unmotivated to Sacrifice for a Goal, You Have Two Choices

When You’re Unmotivated to Sacrifice for a Goal, You Have Two Choices

Sacrificing for a goal is tangible, and is 100% within your control. Simply put, it’s all on you. There is nothing or no one else to blame if you aren’t willing to make sacrifices for a goal.

Knowing this doesn’t make sacrificing for a goal easier, it just puts it into context. What’s more, the quote below puts this context into further perspective with a simple ultimatum for those who are unmotivated to sacrifice for a goal:

Sacrifice is giving up something that matters for something that matters more

Given that, if you aren’t willing to make sacrifices to achieve a goal, then that goal is not as important as the thing you want to sacrifice. Therefore, you have two choices:

1) change the goal to something that matters more, or

2) change the sacrifice to something that matters less.
