Your Future Self Needs You to Invest in the Quality of Quantity Method

I have a theory called the theory of average performance. The theory is based on the quality of quantity method. This means that as the quantity of attempts increase, the quality will increase as well. Therefore, the overall average quality will trend up over time.

Of course, this theory is only relevant in cases when experience is the dominant factor for improving. So this does limit its application. Nevertheless, when applied both strategically and tactically profound transformations are possible.

A great example of one of these profound transformations comes in the long term weight loss of an obese individual. Another great example is the reverse scenario when a thin person gets buff through weight training.

In both of these examples profound transformations come from someone starting from scratch, finding a routine, and then using that routine to make steady progress over time.

This all comes back to why I believe daily goals are the foundation for success. In short, investing in a long term goal by investing in daily goals that support the quality of quantity method is the single best investment any person can make in their future self.
