When Success Doesn’t Feel Like Success

When Success Doesn’t Feel Like Success

Sacrifice everything…friends, family, marriage, kids, hobbies, vacation, and all other things meaningful. All to achieve a goal that defines success. It will be worth it once you reach the goal.

Sacrifice is part of success, but must you sacrifice everything? Your gut tells you YES! You can have all those other things later in life once you are successful.

However, once you reach that goal it feels numb. No happiness, no satisfaction, no love, nothing. Well nothing except stress, addictions, depression, and regret.

As it turns out, success is not really success when it doesn’t feel like success. The sacrifice was not worth it. You wish someone told you that sacrifice requires balance. Without balance, sacrifice is selfish and the end never justifies the means.
