My Secret for Keeping Up with the Best Research on the Internet

My Secret for Keeping Up with the Best Research on the Internet

Finding the best research on the internet is one of the hardest parts of writing a daily blog. Quality research with reliable data on the topics you care about is without a doubt the best form of inspiration.  However, keeping up with new research published daily can almost be a full time job.

Nevertheless, after 131 days into my latest daily blogging journey, I think I’ve cracked the code. I can confidently say that I’ve found the easiest method of keeping up with the best research on the internet.  That method is using Flipboard.

Flipboard as the secret for keeping up with the best research on the internet

The reason why Flipboard is such a great tool for keeping up with the best research on the internet is it’s ease. Finding and saving articles for later is a breeze.   Essentially, Flipboard is a community of curators who organize articles into topics you’re passionate about.  If a topic doesn’t exist, you can just create it.

As you browse through hundreds of fresh new articles each day, inspiration begins to circulate throughout your body from your brain cells down to your toes.  When you find articles you like from sources outside of Flipboard, you can post those articles into flipboard to save for later.  When you find articles you like on Flipboard, you can “flip” those articles into your own “magazines” to curate research to blog about later.

This process is making my habit of daily blogging 10 times easier.  Presently, almost half of the scientific research I use to formulate my best blog post now come from Flipboard.

So far, I have one “magazine” on Flipboard to track the articles I like.  It’s called Unlocking Potential.  As the title suggest, I use it to curate research that highlight how parents, athletes, and entrepreneurs can unlock their potential. Please check it out and follow it as you setup your own Flipboard account.  Both the Flipboard web and mobile apps are easy to use and start with.
