About Me

Chris Mance

Thanks for stopping by my site.  Below is a little about me…

I’m a software engineer, business analyst, and entrepreneur.  I learned to write software when I was 14 and started my first company when I turned 20. I created my first website that got “real” traffic as a freshman at the United States Military Academy at West Point.  A few years later I went on to launch my first web business while getting a master’s degree in software engineering at Florida A&M University.

After I finished up grad school, I went corporate full-time and ran an online media, design an advertising business on the side. I did this for 10 years while working full-time as a business analyst and consultant at Accenture, Amdocs, and finally Lockheed Martin.

In 2012, I left Lockheed Martin to focus full-time on a startup named Nichevertising. Nichevertising is a software solution I built to help thought leader businesses engage with the journalist and influencers in their niche, and then turn this engagement into press, subscribers and sales. However, for various reasons I will share some other time, user growth never picked up and in August 2015 I shut down the company.

Fortunately, failure provides the gift of experience that keeps on giving.

I absolutely love building software and I love working with founders passionate about their ideas.  So now, and into the foreseeable future, I am using what I’ve learned from my various experiences to help founders build high quality software.

Let me know if I can help you launch your next software product.
